近年來，彩鋼板房屋火災時有發(fā)生，甚造成重大人員傷亡和財產損失。彩色鋼板用易燃的聚苯乙烯泡沫包裹。一旦點燃，聚苯乙烯泡沫立即接觸火焰，熔化并燃燒，產生大量黑煙?；馂陌l(fā)生后，聚苯乙烯、聚氨酯泡沫等易燃材料不僅燃燒速度快，而且還會產生大量有毒有害氣體，從而危及周圍人群的生命。
In recent years, Color Steel Plate House fires occur from time to time, and even caused significant casualties and property losses. Colored Steel plates are wrapped in flammable polystyrene foam. Once ignited, the Styrofoam immediately comes into contact with the flame, melting and burning, producing a great deal of black smoke. After the fire, polystyrene, polyurethane foam and other inflammable materials not only burn fast, but also produce a large number of toxic and harmful gases, thus endangering the safety of people around.
2012年10月10日5時，陜西省西安市周縣陳河鄉(xiāng)漢濟渭河引水工程中鐵十八局施工現(xiàn)場的彩鋼板（聚苯乙烯芯材）活動房屋發(fā)生火災。大火僅持續(xù)了6分鐘，直到建筑物倒塌，造成12人死亡，2人失蹤，24人受傷。
On October 10,2012, at 5:00 pm, a fire broke out in a mobile house made of colored steel (polystyrene core) at the construction site of the 18th Railway Bureau of the han-ji Weihe River diversion project in Chenhe Township, Zhouzhi County, Shaanxi Province. The fire lasted only six minutes until the building collapsed, killing 12 people, leaving two missing and 24 injured.

2013年4月14日6時左右，湖北省襄陽市樊城區(qū)前進路怡景酒店發(fā)生火災，造成14人死亡，47人受傷。據調查，消防大樓二樓網絡俱樂部屋頂采用了帶可燃夾層材料的彩鋼板，導致火勢迅速蔓延。酒店樓部分外窗設置鋼質防盜網，嚴重影響消防救援和人員逃生。
At around 6:00 p.m. on April 14,2013, a fire broke out at the Yijing hotel on Qianjin road in Fancheng District, Hubei Province, killing 14 people and injuring 47 others. According to the investigation, the fire building on the second floor of the Network Club roof with combustible Sandwich Material Color Steel Plate, leading to the rapid spread of fire. Some of the exterior windows of the hotel are equipped with steel anti-theft nets, which seriously affect fire rescue and escape.

2015年5月25日19時30分左右，河南省平頂山市廬山縣康樂老人公寓發(fā)生特大火災事故，造成39人死亡，6人受傷，面積745.8，直接經濟損失2064.5萬元。國務院事故調查組認定該事故為生產責任事故。事故原因是以易燃易爆材料為芯材的彩鋼板在老年公寓內被非法使用，電線接觸不良、發(fā)熱，高溫點燃周圍電線絕緣層等易燃易爆材料，導致火災。
At about 19:30 on May 25,2015, a huge fire broke out in the kangle elderly apartment in Lushan County, Henan Province, killing 39 people and injuring six others, covering an area of 745.8 square meters and causing direct economic losses of 20.645 million yuan. The Accident Investigation Group of the State Council determined that the accident was a work safety liability accident. The cause of the accident is that the colored steel plate with inflammable and explosive material as its core was used illegally in the apartment for the aged, the electric wire contact was bad, the heat was generated, the high temperature ignited the surrounding electric wire insulation layer and other inflammable and explosive materials, which led to the fire.
